Web Development Intern for Kabissa – Space for Change in Africa 

In our efforts to build a new online platform for African civil society, 
Kabissa will be implementing a new content management system in collaboration 
with OneWorld. As a first step, we are looking for an intern to work with our 
team to set up the CMS. 

Activities: 
- Conduct audit of existing site and functionality 
- Become familiar with new CMS 
- Develop plan for migrating existing site to CMS 
- Set up CMS (templates, content types, etc.) 
- Document processes in new CMS 

Skills and experience: 
- Familiarity with CMS-driven sites, preferably eZ Publish 
- Proficiency with HTML coding and Web design software 
- Experience with designing and developing Web sites 
- Interest/Experience in Africa 
- Interest/Experience in NGO sector 
- Ability to work independently and take initiative 


Part-time, unpaid position, starting immediately, ending May, 2004 (with 
potential for extension)
