[thelist] Flash Help Please

Happy New Year!,

Some info on my situation:

I am comepletely new to the site design/building game.  I have stumbled into
a golden opportunity, which started as a simple part-time site maintenance
job and grown into a full blown Site Re-design (and full time job, with
other duties), for a small software company.

My problem is that the boss wants to incorporate the use of rotating
clickable client logos/quotes (<http://www.adexa.com> <--much like the one
seen here) onto the new homepage.  And I am at a complete loss as to how to
accomplish this, other than knowing (or thinking) I need flash to get it
done, something I know nothing about.

I do not need a step by step walkthrough (though It would be nice 8^), A
general overview of what skills, tools I would need to make this happen,
and/or where I could go to read about and develop these tools will suffice.

Secondly I would like to thank all the wonderful folks that make up this
list.  I signed on shortly after getting my current position, and have
posted a couple of simple, newbie questions and been very well recieved.
The rest of the time I have found discussions that provided
insights/solutions to problems that I have encountered (timely I might add).

For example the boss brought up SEO for the site before the Holiday, and
what did I find coming down the list when I got back home today?? but a
wonderful Discussion about SEO along with some helpful resources.
