[thelist] What am I missing about creating static pages using technology suchas java server pages or asp.net?

Great, thanks, I looked up info about asp etc on google but all I got
was definitions etc not info like this. I have asked for the ftp info so
I can check further because I have worked on sites before that have .php
extensions and I just didn't touch the php bits and altered the html
bits that needed doing so I was hoping that this may be the same.

Thanks
Lisa

If it's just the filename, and there's really no scripting used, piece
o' cake. In fact, even if there *is* scripting, as long as you don't
bodge it up, you can still tweak the HTML.

Even when I working for someone who just wants a brochure, I tend to
name the pages *.asp 'cause if they ever *do* want server side
scripting, the naming and navigation doesn't have to change.
