[thelist] My ongoing problem with Google and the Studio Stitches site

Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions, however the problem remains.

I had a number of excellent suggestions from people and have tried them all, but still to no avail.

The Problem: Google and Yahoo both only find references from the index page, but neither can find anything that is on a sub-page.

The site's index page is at www.studiostitches.com.au

The sub-pages are:
www.studiostitches.com.au/catlogue.htm
www.studiostitches.com.au/contact.htm
and
www.studiostitches.com.au/orders.htm

The site originally had menus that used a java script for the roll-over images. As suggested a couple of weeks ago, I added an html index at the bottom of the index.htm page.
I am sure Google and Yahoo have both reindexed the site because their cached versions both show the new index page.

The funny thing is that I have never had this problem with any other site, regardless of the java script on the menu.

If you search Google or Yahoo for "Studio Stitches" it comes up, however if you search for +"studio stitches" +doris (Doris is a name of a product on www.studiostitches.com.au/catalogue.htm) neither Google or Yahoo can find it.

The site has existed for about 18 months and has apparently always had the same problem. That is why the owner originally came to me. She asked me to add the Google Search function that is now on the index page, believing that people would be able to search for her products by using that once the found the site.

I added Google Search, but even from the index page searching the domain only, this feature never comes up with any results.

After I last resubmitted the site to Google I also submitted each of the sub-page addresses separately too, although I know there is not supposed to be any reason to do that, but that hasn't helped either.

If anyone has any other suggestion I would be most grateful

Regards

Jane

are there any issues with what it is trying to index, can it see the extra
  pages?

do you have logs of the google bot actually reading them?

like...... User Agent = Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; Ask Jeeves/Teoma)
  etc etc

did you give Google the right starting point?

The "googlebot" should be able to spider your site with the backdoor links
  bottom left anyway... (nice)

check to see if you exist elsewhere on Yahoo etc?
