Good suggestion.  Unfortunately they require $10 per backup to do that
(unreasonable, yes!), which would add up quickly over time.

This would be a good idea too, except that my install of SQL Server is only
an eval copy (for this very purpose), with a time limit on it.  Also, my
workstation is a laptop, which is not always connected while I work.  I
would like to remove the thing anyway, as I am neither inclined nor
qualified to maintain the security patches and such for SQL Server on my own
machine.
