Dear JWP, you can do everything you need with CSS, using combinations of
positions, width, margins, paddings, etc. I will not bother you more, but
specifically for the nav-bar thing you should state its width of the size of
the spacer and in pixels (not percentages) , that way if the screen is
640x480 or its split with a panel/hotlist/whatever, the fixed width will
keep the nav-bar together.
