I took Diane to mean that it's hard (for the developer) to test because 
'you' (the developer) have to have the font to begin with (in order to 
embed the font using weft) so it would appear to work correctly regardless.

Although in that case you could just temporarily remove the font from 
the system you're testing on (remove it from the fonts directory, and 
put it somewhere else for safekeeping), then see if it still works in 
the page.
