Most of us (programmers) know the Model-View-Controller 
framework. Languages like PHP invite to blend HTML en 
program code, which is not ideal.

Smarty is a nice PHP-based solution for this. It's a 
templating system which seperates the templates from the 
PHP-code. The templates are automatically compiled en cached 
and is really fast.

We use it for our websites and we are very happy with it.
