[thelist] IIS Troubles - Authenticated User ... Who?

Hi,

We have an Intranet here that uses Windows NT/CR to authenticate users. It's
all set up and working fine for the home page and all the files located in
the "/" root directory. However when I have a page (.asp) located in a sub
folder "/docs/page.asp," the server has no clue who the Authenticated user
is anymore.

For example,
John Doe is logging in to our Intranet

"/somepage.asp" Authenticated user = "domain/Jdoe"
"/folder/apage.asp" Authenticated user =

I'm using request.servervariables("AUTH_USER") to get this information. Is
there anything I'm missing in IIS (4) that would cause this to happen?
