If you change the padding in a.nav to "padding: 5px 5px 4px 5px;", the
black navigation links (I assume this is what you were referring to) are
1px shorter in Firefox, and still look the same in IE6.
BTW, I'd be remiss if I didn't recommend you use CSS for layout instead
of tables - but of course it's totally up to you :)
