Once upon a time there was a program called Frontpage Express ...
That's how I started. Quite a few years down the line I now work full-time
as a web designer and teach web design, both in HTML and with Dreamweaver,
and somehow became a standards nut. The only book I ever read was "Web Pages
That Suck: Learn Good Design by Looking at Bad Design" by Vincent Flanders &
Michael Willis.
