My wife takes all the credit for solving my technical woes. She usually
responds to my questions by "You put that thing over there, type those
characters, jump up and down 3 times while singing the alphabet backwards.
Oh and don't forget the 'Abra Cadabra' trick. It worked on the LAST one I
HELPED you with." :-\

It usually distracts my mind long enough for me to see the error right
underneath my nose.

I'm a big fan of documenting my code even when I feel like I've done
something weird that helps. For example:

mysql_query("Update ....",$link);

; // There will be syntax error on this page without the blank command.
