So don't use php, after all, it is just a tool. If you have this many
problems with using ASP, then perhaps it is time to look for another
job. Exactly what do wich to accomplish by mixing technologies on a
company website against the wishes or the powers that be?

Besides, who says you can not design "pretty pages" using Visual
Studio? If that is all that is holding you back then use another tool.
You can work with ASP without using Visual Studio and you can design
HTML and CSS outside of Visual Studio and then import it to connect it
up to ASP.NET. So what is the problem again?
