	Oh.  That makes sense.  Your original way was funnier, though

	And unfortunately, Chris was right about the server-cookie
thing... unless, of course, you can pass the cookie collection along in
that cfhttp tag somehow.  Dang, and I thought I had such a brilliant
idea.

A simple misspelling.  It should be cgi.http_host which is the domain of
the request.
