[thelist] php mysql matched pairs

I have been googling for some info on using matched pairs in a table and
then pull them out agin and formatted inot a nice table :)  Is this
possible?

I haven't ventured inot this matched pairs storage of data before am I
correct to presume it is pretty straightforward?  ie; store all the data
in a field similar to csv data and then pull it out and loop accordingly?
