[thelist] Wiki Recommendation?

I've spent the last three weeks trying to install MediaWiki 1.3.3 on a 
Solaris Apache machine.  I can't get it working, I've written to the 
mediwiki list and to my host, no one can figure it out.  I'm not sure what 
the problem is but I'm ready to try something else.
