It's up and working like a charm.  Edited the Hosts file, set up 
Virtual Domains in my httpd.conf

Of course I've broken my previously working includes somehow  :( , but 
I think I'll be able to get 'em running on my own. :)

spelled out beautifully.

An outstanding program for making image maps is MapSpinner (formerly 
HTML Map Maker) by Optima Systems 
<http://www.optima-system.com/mapspinner/>.

You open the graphic, draw on the areas, set the links, that's it.  
Save as full page, or use my favorite method: "copy map to clipboard" 
and paste straight into your existing page.

As an added bonus, it's currently available for free.  (When Optima 
bought the commercial product from the previous company, they added 
some features and are calling it a "free preview")
