[thelist] Notify Users with JS Disabled

I work on a site which is available only to our paid clients and is Windows
MSIE 6 only and requires users to have JavaScript enabled. All of our
clients understand this and accept it.

There exists the possibility, however, that one day one will inadvertently
disable JS. This causes us problems.

We are looking for a 'friendly' way of notifying users that JavaScript is
disabled on their browser and they need to fix this before proceeding.

I have a few solutions but none of them seem ideal.

Do people have any good suggestions?
