[thelist] Email confirmation - html or text?

Having run into this precarious situation...a lot...your best bet is to
stick with plain ol' text. If you want to have a link, just type in
http://www.whatever.com and your mail viewing program will do the work of
linking it for you. Carriage returns are solved depending on your
development platform (vbCRLF, \r\n, etc.).

However, if you know your audience can accept HTML formatted emails (like in
an Intranet), then go nuts.

However, :-\ all it takes is for one person to accept plain text in your
closed environment to throw everything you've accomplished out the window...
