 thanks for the suggestion. We are looking to move our intranet, which
is  largely static pages with a few .asp dynamic applications, like
conference room booking, to a more comprehensive portal system

We will hope to use asp.net, a windows server, server 2003, against SQL
2000 Server SP 3. right now we are still on a 1995 netscape suite spot
server on X! 

We will want document creation, management, templates, workflow, and
posting (for each groups intranet pages) plus the ability to do things
like simple personalization (choose if you want to see your bugs,
conference room bookings, corporate events, the corporate newsletter,
your email inbox, etc.) I don't think we need project management or
instant messaging. . .

If you have any further ideas, please advise!
