Using ASCII character entities is not a very effective method of 
obfuscation from harvesters anymore.  Maybe it was in '98, but no 
longer.  Non-predictable, e.g. idiosyncratic to a particular site, 
methods are generally better, if you truly must create a mailto: link. 
There are human harvesters too, though.  Once /they/ get an address, 
it'll make the rounds in spammerland very quickly.  All in all the best 
solution is a contact form, or to require authentication before 
displaying any documents containing mailto: links.
