Also, some DSL & Cable modems block port 80, even if the router is open
to it. In that case, you'll need to listen on another port, assuming
one is open (e.g. 8000), and forward that through your router if necessary.
I went that route a while back, and instead ended up getting a
$7.95/month hosting account to play around with - faster, easier to set
up, no headaches. I spend more than $8 on coffee each month...
(If you decide to launch a commercial site, though, do get a real web
host or Marc S. will hunt you down... :)
