Sorry about no "tip".

I just went to the Evolt web site to learn about the tips for OT. I never got the email on this, or I didn't know about the guideline available on the site, however I fixed my ignorance today.

I don't know if this is written very good, but it's as accurate as far as my knowledge goes.

<tip type="network security" author = Steven Streight>Viruses, keystroke loggers, printer loggers, email loggers, Trojans, worms are "no problem" on your system or network? Think again. Infected files, malicious scripts, worms on ports, etc. can run executables as background programs the user and admins are unaware of. Never assume that "everything's fine and uninfected" just because you notice nothing. Never assume sluggishness is "internet is jammed with traffic" or other non-malware excuses.</tip>

I have learned a lot about computer security from Ed Skoudis at his Counter Hack site.
