[thelist] setting up a PHP based mailing list [offlist]

The soon to be available Mac Mini might be perfect for running this.  
$499, 6" x 2" is all the room it takes up, and it will run PHP til' the 
cows com home.  You can turn the Mini into a Unix server, since it 
comes ready for that out of the box, thanks to OS X.  I am just 
learning PHP/MySQL, etc., but it is something I am looking into myself. 
  I am not familiar with Mailman ( yet ) but I'd assume that it would be 
no problem setting it up.
