I have a transitional website, it is just that.  The site design was XHTML transitional but there is dynamic content from an ActiveX HTML editor... which AFAIK won't even validate as HTML RUBBISH. 
( that's TRASH for our friends over the pond).

So the site will not validate XHTML transitional until I can get an XHTML editor on it and change all the dynamic content.

My question:  Does anybody know for sure (no guessing :) if this failure to validate is enough to terminate a Google index?
