   I've gotten lots of calls from recruiters in the past few months, but the rates usually aren't worth looking at unless you have less than a year of experience.

It's not just you. I've been getting calls from recruiters for the first 
time in years, and a friend of mine, looking into changing jobs, has had 
three offers in as many days. We were trying to hire a couple of junior 
techs (more programmers than webslingers) here, and had huge trouble, 
because very often when we called to ask if they'd attend an interview or 
to offer them a job after one, they'd already taken a job with someone else.
