Here is another version with 400ms menu show delay (windows default)


- it is based on an ordered list, and responses to keyboard events:
tab, shift tab,
and mouse clicks.
- it is css-based (reformats an ul)

- it relies (heavily) on javascript to enhance functionality.
- not completely finished (not 100% accessible without DOM support, or
js disabled, but offers an acceptable level of accessibility, imho)
- it's a part of my api, so not designed to work standalone (a bunch
of unrelated js is required)
