Hi, it happened to me as well, as son as I typed http://localhost or the IP a password box would come up in firefox. There were no new permission to set, my problem was that the personal webserver installation was messed as I installed dotnet framework on my machine. I reinstalled pws after the dotnet installation and everything went fine I hope this might help you.
