I apologize, as I'm a little confused on what is going on here.  However,
have you checked the security settings in IIS to make sure that anonymous
access is allowed?

  I believe this is the problem ... could you tell me where this is, so I
can it off. :)  I did forget to mention that regardless of if I use the IP
number, localhost or my computer name, FF still asks for username and
password when I try to access my local site.
