[thelist] List horizontal navbar IE PC problem

I have just changed the body p properties from .9em to 1em, and notice that
Safari (mac), FF (pc) and see that the text in the navbar has moved down
from the center of the navbar strip, but IE pc it still remains up the top.
This would seem to indicate to me that it is an inheritance problem, but IE
is still acting differently to the others.

I would very much like some guidance on this.
