as for the menus i have, the JS are a hybrid of some different 
modifications on the web -- allowing keyboard access in IE, allowing 
the menus to work in Safari, etc...

i also converted the list to an ordered list (instead of unordered) 
to bring it more in line with how i believe the WCAG indicate menus 
for navigation should be coded (the numbers give users on non-
graphical browsers the ability to tell where they are in the menu or 
submenu)...

i did it back in april, so it's not all at the top of my memory pile 
right now... i'd just say get in there and borrow it... improve if 
you can and send it back up if you do...
