So the consensus is:

it adds to page load. But I gain money from it. And most people have
gotten used to the quirks of it.

Well I have to think. The white angel over my right shoulder tells to
remove the ads, and the red devil on the left tells me to keep the ads
as I would gain money from them.

I think I'm gonna toss a coin and then decide:
Heads -> keep the ads.
Tails -> remove them entirely.
None (i.e. the coin drops vertical to the ground) -> decrease the number of ads.
