[thelist] Searching for Web Development Talent!!

Hi...

After trying to find resources/people who might want to join our team, I
decided to post here.. Partly to blow off steam, partly in the hopes that
someone might have ideas that we hadn't thought of to solve this issue.

I'm part of a small group (3-4) people, and we're looking to create a couple
of applications. In architecting everything, we're going to need a couple of
web apps. The underlying apps/crawlers/db stuff we can handle... Howevre the
guy who was going to provide the web expertise flaked out...

So, we're in the process of trying to figure out how we can find a few web
guys who are looking to join/create a start up. And no, we'not FUNDED!!! If
we were, we'd hire someone.. That's called an employee! This would be a pure
startup..

we've place ads in Craigslist, placed postings on RentACoder, etc... But
we're really looking for someone who would be part of the team. We've also
started to take a look at the local colleges..

So.. any thoughts/comments/ideas..
