Susan-

Your script does not validate because it uses invalid syntax. "Subject" 
is not a valid attribute for the div tag. In other words, the Javascript 
programmer cheated a little.

If you check the source for the script, you'll see that you can remove 
the subject attribute at the expense of losing the options in the select 
box at the bottom. ('Subject' is use to build an option tag for each 
artist.)

Or you can live with a fully functional, non-compliant :o page.
