If you haven't checked out the DOM inspector available with Firefox, you
really should. It can seem intimidating at first, but once you've
explored a little you'll find it to be an invaluable resource in
development. For example, it'll let you see which CSS rules are being
applied to an element, and in what order. Here's an article with a brief

I've even surprised myself with this one; reading that article, I
learned about using it to delete an element from a page and change the
class of an element - very useful!
