[thelist] connecting to MySQL on WinXP

I've just set up my first MySQL server for a desktop application at work.
I've got it up and the desktop app works fine from the computer MySQL is on.
However, I can't for the life of me get a DSN connection (ODBC) to work from
the other computers on the LAN.

I've tried using all the following as the Server in the ODBC box.

192.168.1.136
192.168.1.136\mysql
\\D7s54y91
\\D7s54y91\mysql

And the error I get everytime is "Unknown MySQL server host"

I'm sure I'm over looking something, but I can't seem to figure out what.
Anyone have any ideas?
