Yes I think so, that's what a back button is for.

Other than that you can fix it with the same fix needed for Ajax

Or  as a quick and dirty (quote and quote) "solution" you can set expire
header for your web page; so that when someone clicks the back button she
sees a "content expired" warning. This will solve your all state-related
problems for good :)

Yes it is quick.
... And it is dirty.
But depending on your project requirements; it can be a great time-saver.
