- yes I agree Julian, for the other pages of a site, I was talking about the
homepage only.
- Jono, I'm on the side of usability, I was looking for evidence to convince
others (although I like the tragedy of the commons idea as an argument).
- thanks for the URLs Felix, they're typical of other pages I found on the
subject of good practice for titles, in that they mention that all pages
should have unique titles and the site name, but say little about why site
name is good for homepage because of where the title tage may be re-used
elsewhere.
