Sorry to hear that.

So, you are attributing these experiences to the programmer's country
of origin? Your ignorance parallels that of the 1800s.

You must remember that even if you are dealing with a project in the
early double digits, your project is *tiny*, and you will be dealing
with a lower class of developer as a result. For a project this size,
depending on your personal management skills, you might be better off
going with a CMMI Level 5 organization in India. But going with a
single Indian developer? I hope you have extremely good management
skills.
