Hi Matt,


I _think_ that's a 'no go'. (But I'm not 100% positive.)

The link in access was set up by being on the table object, pressing 
the 'new' button, then the 'link table --> okay' button, then 
browsing the hard drive to connect to the txt file directly.  

[I believe the txt files are tab delimited and have the field names 
in the first row - if that helps any.]
