you say it's not case sensitive, I'm sorry you are wrong, when it comes to using setattribute IE is case sensitiveI wrote an extensive AJAX applicattion and I used setattribute throughout the codeI created the webapp in FF then when I went to test with IE it did not workI did searching at the time and found IE is case sensitive when using setattributeI changed the code as I specified in my first post and then the webapp worked in both IE & FF
