[thelist] File uploading ISSUE

Hi , 

I wrote a small php script, to upload contents into mysql database. It works well . There is a function , while i upload a content , automatically it takes the file size , file name , and the file type ( basically MIME ) . 
when i upload a picture (jpg/gif) , it takes as image/jpeg and image/gif.

But , when i uploading a SIS and CAB files into the database , that file types taking as "application/octet-stream". This is not the correct mime types of that relavent contents. why this is happened ?

SIS - application/vnd.symbian.install

application/cab 
 application/x-compress 
 application/x-compressed 
 zz-application/zz-winassoc-cab ------>>>> for CAB

Can somebody help me on this please ?
