Agree, it would be an ideal solution. I didn't dive deep in the code whether
that logic is encapsulated somewhere.
Besides, I don't want to either, because if the developers of the snap
plugin alter that portion (if any) I will need to re-investigate the code
and find another solution.

Alternatively one can write an addon overriding some of the prototype
functions of the SPA object. But unless snap.com provides a documented API,
hacking the plugin deeper would be risky.

if only the life was optimum :)
