I had a nice little face-to-face discussion my main (outsourced) designer
today. Here are some of the topics covered in the conversation, thought it
might be on-topic:

1. Recurring tendency to design websites at 300 DPI, resizing to 72 as a
last step, thus blurring all straight edges;
2. Using non-standard, anti-aliased fonts at 6pt or 7pt;
3. Designing content as pure white text on an opaque bright yellow
background.

That third one happened today, and he was 100% convinced it was the right
design decision, and no other color would possibly fit in the design at that
spot. The fact that he didn't notice when I alt-tabbed to a version where
the bright yellow was replaced by a dark blue says enough, I think...
