Information vital to sales <==> findability on the internet.

HTML, unless you've done something really wrong, is already in 
search-engine friendly format.  I don't have tons of experience in 
placing PDF out there on sites to be found, but from what I see it's not 
a given that the PDF is indexable. If you do a google search you can 
find some articles dealing with PDF and search engines, also PDF to HTML 
converters.  It's just another variable in the mix.
