There is one other option for data.
fastparts inc out of texas, has the hollander data base in their auto 
wrecker product, which runs on linux RH 6,0 something or other.
they haven't updated as the data they get from hollander won't migrate.
but this is probably of limited usage if your client is repairing cars 
mechanically
