[thelist] MS "WPF/E" - anyone playing with this?

That's how Flash developers understand it.  Flex developers think of it as
their version of Flex, Windows developers think of it as a cross-platform
XAML, XUL developers think of it as a cross-browser XUL, etc.

There'll be endless arguments about which is better, but there aren't huge
differences from a runtime perspective.

Flash is clearly superior for authoring (especially given CS3) for the
forseeable future, so the interesting fight is in 2009.  By then WPF/E will
support more of the interesting bits of .NET 3.0, and a whole bunch of
authoring tools for WPF/E.
