[thelist] PHP template code security sufficient?

Thanks for the suggestion, Paul. I do recall seeing quite a few Wordpress
sites 'made traditional' out there. I've actually already built out my site
(sans the shopping cart), but wanted to add the templating. I'm intrigued in
using the Wordpress engine, but I'm not sure if I would be jumping into
another learning curve when it comes to modifying the layout? Any good
examples of an ecommerce store using this approach?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

If you're not wanting to get too involved with building your own system, why
not try using something like Wordpress of Expression Engine? Both are
'blogging platforms' but can easily be used to build more traditional sites.

They're pretty full-featured and will take care of all the grunt work for
you.

HTH,
Paul
