Since a refresh "fixes" the problem, you might try the following as a
work-around.

You are including the CSS file with the "link" tag. Try duplicating the
definitions that affect that column into a second CSS file and use a
style tag with CSS import statment to include the second file.

IIRC, imports are processed after link tags so *maybe* it would force a
redraw (not a reload) of that particular division.

Yeah, it's kind of a shot in the dark but it might be worth a try.
