It's because the CSS version takes up a larger width, and the grey bars
scale to fit it. They are comparatively the same.

IE 7 (all I've tried so far) loads the page in seconds. But it loads the
tabled version as well nearly as fast, so it's not a huge deal... I just
want to make that graph look amazing because I finally convinced my boss
that CSS is a good thing, and if I show him this graph, they will never use
CSS again.
